Exhibited at THE FAIREST 02: Get Used To This, a featured project of Berlin Art Week at Kühlhaus, Berlin, 2023.
The title is taken from Pettigrew’s script “To Scroll, is to Remember” to explore our physical realities as they continue to be informed by and layered with a digital interface and trace data. The photo-sculpture exhibited invites an evocative ‘decoding’ exploration by expanding the parameters of photography, sculpture and performance. The practice of generative curation is performed by a fan placed behind the photo-sculpture. The relentless and unpredictable movement creates infinite experiences of the work for the audience and speaks to the motion experienced between online and offline worlds.
